ROUTE
GR 938 162, canal north, W Way, Gale, Clough, W Way, round Ratcliffe Hill, High Lee Slack, Dobbin Hill, Spr, to Watergrove Resr, anti-clockwise around Resr as far as ‘18’, following permissive path ‘Watergrove Routes’ northwest (via track leaving resr track on right), leaving this track at a point where it drops down by joining a path on right that climbs ahead meeting and joining with Pennine Bridleway, meeting and joining a track coming from north (at a rough area) and doubling back here along track up towards Little Middle Hill, joining Rossendale Way by going round Middle Hill to Quarries, Hades Hill (joining then leaving new windmill track), Trough Edge, along ridge to trig at Trough Edge End, Coolam, 323, Foul Clough Road, 292, Law Hey Farm, canal, White Hart Wetherspoons – approx 3 min – Todmorden Train Station (far platform).

NOTES
Terrain: Mainly on hill tracks.
Navigation: The paths after leaving Watergrove Resr to start of climb towards Little Middle Hill don’t relate much to the map.
