Celtic Slog

This is a circular long distance walk through post-industrial Lancashire.  It can be done in five Saturday stages.

The walk’s name has been derived from ‘Brigantia’, the ancient Celtic kingdom in what is now Lancashire.  This is a region that was cut off from the rest of Great Britain by hills to the north and east and swamp to the south.

The criteria outlined on the home page regarding bad weather, navigation, timings, safety and the disclaimer also applies to these walks.
